- First it has to fit physically, which is IMHO impossible in an desktop
- A3000, but in an A3000T it works fine (I have it this way).
- Second, the A3000(T) CPU-slot lacks four signals compared to the A4000
- one: these are INT2, INT6 and two other that are not important to the
- WarpEngine. Essential is, that the WarpEngine gets connected to INT2,
- otherwise you could experience problems when using the WE's SCSI.
- The A3000 version has a wire clip to do so, the A4000 has the pad too,
- but no wire attached, so you have to hack your own, the pad is noted
- in the manual, for the counterpart (INT2 on the A3000 motherboard) you
- should lokk into the A3000 schematics.
- Note: soldering on the WE voids your warranty.
- I decided to add the signals on the motherboard, to get a fully A4000
- compliant (electrically-wise) CPU slot without soldering on the WE.
